Default Great framerate to terrible framerate.

So, for a while my framerate will be awesome (50-60) and then out of nowhere my fps will drop to 6 fps and stay there. I have no idea why, heres my specs:

    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU P7450 @ 2.13GHz 2.13 GHz
    Ram: 4 GB
    System Type: 64-bit Operating System

No one else has this problem? Is it something to do with my system?

Yeah, during Beta, I had roughly 30-40 fps. Now with the launch of the actual game my game is stable around 9fps. 5-7 in instances and pvp.
Needless to say, it's rather difficult.
My graphics card is Mobility Radeon HD 4330. Yes, i play on a laptop. But, i cheked out all the specs and I overqualify to play Rift.
I've tried updating drivers, all kinds of things and nothing changes the fps. Video settings from Ultra to Min don't affect the fps either.

No you don't, your lucky Rift even launches with that gpu.

How are you guy's monitoring your FPS? Do you just hover over the computer icon every now & then?

Have you been running an FPS logger in the background to give you an overall average? Or are you just pulling numbers out of thin air?

I've tested my system on several sites that say "Can you play this game" etc. Those say I overqualify.

Who cares, those sites are a guesstimate. They are based on Trions minimum/recommended system requirements.

    I'll translate those for you:
    Minimum requirements = slideshow
    Recommended = barely playable

I have the same problem. Drops from mid 30's FPS down to a stutter for a few seconds. Happens at completely random times.

Regardless, that doesn't explain why i was able to play just fine with 30ish fps in beta and now with the live game it's dropped to unplayable.

Depends on where you are in the world. Will be different in every zone..

On low end systems, this means going from 30fps to barely playable.
