    Default Error 1021

Was able to log in fine last night, but suddenly today I can't seem to login.

I tried everything I could think of, and some things that barely make sense. But nothing worked.

Here's a rundown of the problem:
    Launch
    Screen Loads
    Wait about 30-45 Seconds
Receive MsgBox: "Unable to connect with the patch server, please try again later. (Error #1021)

I can then click update, which really does nothing but bounces me through two other messages.

    I've tried:
    Rebooting
    Rebooting Router
    Uninstalling/Reinstalling
    ipconfig /flushdns
disable firewall (Even though I know how to add exceptions)
disable AV (Even though I shouldn't HAVE to)
    Looked for bogus registry entries
    Killed the AppData Rift directory
    Rebooted
    Flipped Circuit Breaker
Made sure there were no remnants of the Beta.

Here are some screenshots of the messages I'm seeing: (Updated to not use thumbnails)

    Any new ideas?

Your images seem a little small and I can't read them. But I'm having the same issue too.

i read somewhere that most university residence servers automatically block the rift patcher server.. don't know if its true but would explain my problem

I was getting that same error everytime i tried to run the patch or a recovery. I closed the game and did a "run as administrator." When i did this the game updated the patcher and i got no errors when i started patching, its still patching at the moment so don't know for sure but it looks like its gonna work.

I don't know if running the game this way fixed it or if i just got lucky but maybe give it a try.
