Changed my GPU on last week, HD5770 >>> GTX570. No difference with my quad core CPU Athlon II X4 635 2900Mhz.

I have an Ati Mobility Radeon HD 5870 and im running on ultra w/ v sync disabled, shadows off, Edge smoothing On, and getting 45+ FPS. Also my Resolution is 1600x900.

Also i've read the Mobile Hd5870 isn't as good as the Desktop Version so i'd say ur fine.

should I be looking to upgrade? I want to be able to play medium-high with a good 30fps or so. But I don't want to break the bank, any suggestions, or am I good with that? I haven't even played with that card yet so I'm not sure what to expect.
Honestly your video card "should" run the game fine depending on other system specs. If you have a really old processor upgrading to a higher quality video card might do nothing since it would create a bottleneck.

I'm running AMD Phenom II 965 BE, so the GPU doesn't need updating?

you should be able to run the game fine with that video card and your processor. It really depends how high of settings you want. I'd give it a try at preferred settings and if you don't like how it looks/performs then going with a gtx 560 or 570 would be a pretty nice increase.
