Default Head Start pre order customer, do I have to re-install the client?

As the title says, I was wondering if I will need to uninstall the Beta client . . . and then download and install the live client? Or will I be able to patch the current Beta client and use it after the game goes live?

    Looking forward to Thursday

    Yes.

The Alpha client (which you most likely don't have access to), the Beta client, and the release client are all different.

I would think you will have to download the new client. My guess is that will be available for download by Wednesday.

I figured you might have to, not a problem. Doesn't take long to download the game anyway, I guess I'll uninstall it. Most I'll lose is about 20 minutes downloading it again.

Dude start the DL at the same time and take advantage of the fact that she is in the same room.

Probably just patch it with latest build .

If gf needs the game too then dl one and just copy folder over over network (NOT net lol) You can move folder anywhere

In your case- just download a single copy and then burn a copy to DVD to install on your g/f PC.

Believe me- it'll take less time going that route than trying to download 2 copies of the game...especially at the same time.

Yah i did that for beta and it turned out to be somewhat of a pain, had to show hidden folders and find it cause default install path is wierd. but still i live in an igloo in alaska and my bw is capped and slow. i cant do anything about it. i have uncapped 3g on my phone but i get piss poor signal at my house. go figure (for work anyways). just hope they patch it up instead of redo is all =)
