You're probably better off saving your money until you can afford something better or until you come across a better deal. That one you linked doesn't look to be worth the money at all.

What are you going to being using this for?

I could be wrong though, so hopefully somebody else can confirm or deny this?

How comfortable are you with building your own PC? Newegg usually has some pretty good deals for tight budgets. This combo here for example is better than the refurbished one you linked and you could buy a $40 video card to go with it that would be better than the one on that hp.

Edit: For $400, you can actually put together a fairly decent system that can run all new games well at medium settings. Heck, if you aren't comfortable doing it yourself, perhaps you know someone (maybe a neighborhood kid or something?) that wouldn't mind spending an hour to put your computer together for $50 or something. You'd still save more even if you did that.

Duuuuude! Don't blow your money on that. That system is designed as a workstation -- for engineers and such. It is NOT for gaming. it will be terribly poorly optimised for gaming.

    DO NOT BUY

Let me see what I can put together on newegg for < $400 and maybe other people can critique what I come up with.
