    Default Monitor question

I am currently running on a 20 inch Dell monitor res 1600x 900. It does the job but, i was wondering would it be worth to finally upgrade? If so which monitor company should i look at? my budget is 350 $.
    My current comp specs
    Intel i7 930 4.1ghzoc
    2x 460 gtx
    6 gig or ram
So any resolution would be fine
    Thank you in advance

A nice dell is probably an IPS panel. That means upgrading to another IPS panel. If you have a crap dell it might not be, and you can feel free to upgrade to simply a larger monitor.

If you need an IPS, good luck, they're expensive.

If you can upgrade to whatever, I'd suggest Asus and Samsung as good manufacturers.

With that budget, I would recommend either the Samsung XL2370 or the Samsung PX2370

I personally have the PX2370 and I love it. Regardless of what you get, make sure it is LED backlit!

    SAMSUNG P2450H Rose Black 24" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 DC 70000:1(1000:1)

    $225 with shipping included

    If I didn't already have a 27" 1080p monitor, I'd get that if I was spending $250 or less

I like the Asus. 10mill/1 contrast, 2 ms response and built in speakers. and it's almost $20.00 cheaper to boot. In fact i may order that one myself.....
