As the title says its been confirmed that the 11.2 cats will be out next week

@rabourba You can expect to see Catalyst 11.2 out some time next week. Catalyst 11.1a offers a nice preview of what's to come :-)

OH NICE.. imho the 11.1a hotfix drivers were the best since the 10.10e drivers and 11.2 are "improved" ?! NICE, just in time for my new 6960

Why do people get excited about ATI drivers? Don't they release something weekly or monthly just so they can say they release drivers frequently, regardless if the driver is actually ready or an improvement at all?

I guess they could follow nV's lead and release broken hardware (GTX 480/GTX 465) or broken software (260 drivers not removing optimizations in HQ mode), or reducing image quality in favor of FPS or 30% of vista crashes caused by nV software (drivers) or releasing drivers that actually KILL THEIR video cards ?? You mean like that ?

Sorry but it's about time you got off your high horse, just because you can afford to buy the latest and greatest certainly does not make you any more qualified. ATi (AMD), Nvidia, Intel etc (et all) ALL have driver issues and if you honestly think imperfections are exclusive to one brand or another you really haven't a clue, feel free to live in your bubble ignorant of actual data. sorry but you join the /ignore list based on obvious bias and ineptitude to accept the facts.
