I ran a 460GTX with 2GB of vram and it ran ultra in rifts without a hitch.

    Should be a great system.

I'd say spend a bit more and go with this ASUS VE247H with LED backlighting at $180 post rebate.

Not sure who advised you to get triple-channel ram, but that kit won't work in your board. (Well, it might if you messed with the voltage settings, but it's a very bad idea.) You want to look at something like this G.Skill Ripjaws 8 gig AMD kit $105. Or this 4 gig kit at $50.

Memory doesnt really effect that much in performance maybe little bit in loading. If u have 4gb with win7 and decent amount of softwares running backround u still have 1-1.5 gb free. Rift exe. is 32 bit and only can use 2gb max and usually usage is at 1.1-1.3 gb. I have been even encoding videos while playing rift with 4gb/quad cpu and still playable.

the rig in my signature costed $900, and runs the game on ultra with 40-60 fps. if you got the money to throw a better video card in there, you would be doing even better, im thinking about throwing another 5770 in it to take advantage of the insane scalability the 5770 brings when you crossfire it

Western Digital Black 750gb hard drive
    Sapphire Vapor-X 5770(Overclocked)
    Phenom II x4 945 @ 3.75GHz(Cooling provided by the Hyper 212+)
    4GB A-Data DDR3 2000 Gaming Dual Channel

Correction rabb1t.It would work in his mobo but he would run in single channel mode.

If you are on a budget i would recommend the first one. However if you can swing it the second one is very nice.

The MOBO is fine man, just get a 7200 rpm or 10k rpm HDD. Question are you going to be gaming only on this or gaming/other?
