    Default Main Site Issue

    Hey all,

I am having some issues viewing the main rift website. I use firefox and for some reason it says that the server could not be found. I am still able to access my account management page, but...I can't pre-order the game from trion. Is there a way I can view the page or am I to preorder from some other company (steam, etc). Thanks for the help.

That's weird, it's working for me and I'm in Firefox. Try in Internet Explorer maybe? I dunno if this helps but the direct link to the preorder page is below, maybe that will work.

I am also from Ontario, and this is a problem for me as well.

It worked at my University Campus, but at home it simply does not connect. I just bought this today at school, now it looks like I won't even be able to get the damn client!

Mods help please, I can still block this charge, it hasn't happened yet!

note: DOES NOT WORK IN INTERNET EXPLORER OR FIREFOX.

You need to change you DNS server settings to Googles Public ones.

Change you DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 doesn't matter which way round.

Okay... If that worked, all of you guys who had to do this need to smack your ISP upside the head.
    Seriously.
Call their tech support line and tell them their DNS is broken. :P

It tells me that 8.8.8.8 is invalid. Is it supposed to be in a certain format with some trailing zeros? I am on Vista btw. Thanks.

    8.8.8.8 should be valid.
You can also try setting it to 4.2.2.1 (primary) and 4.2.2.2 (secondary)
Doesn't matter what OS you're running. Should still work.

LET ME GUESS, YOU GUYS ARE ON BELL INTERNET?

I've had Bell for years and I hate them, their service is horrible and very unstable - but no one else services my area (not even Rogers). What a joke Bell is.
