    Default Question on screen resolution

    I have a ATI radeon 5870 and a philps 40pfl7505d

Both say they support 1920 1080 yet when I switch to that resolution it seems like my mouse cursor moves very poorly. My screen res at 1680 1050 works awesome though.

    Any idea why?

did you try turning up the speed on your cursor? or better yet the DPI on your mouse if its adjustable.

Ensure that overscan is set properly in your ATI control panel, and that it is outputting 1920x1080 with the TV scaler turned off if possible. More information than "moves very poorly" would help significantly with advice I could give .
    Rig: 256gb SSD, i7 2600K quad-core (w/ HT, 4400mhz), GTX 670 Gigabyte OC WindForce @ 1354core/6510mem, 2560x1600 (Dell 3007wfp-hc S-IPS LCD monitor 30"), 16GB DDR3.
Double the pixels of a 1920x1200 monitor = yummy graphics! I do love my eye candy...

Like when you have the curser with the visible trails? I feels like when I move the mouse in a circle I'm at the end of the trail. It cuts corners and to me it feels like it goes further than i tell it to.

I also noticed that the picture on the screen also looks worse.
