    Exclamation rift_x64.exe - Application Error

The application was unable to start correctly (0x000007b) Click OK to close the application.

I have not played in a while and wanted to see what is going on but I can not log in ????? Any solutions for this. I have tried to reinstall and the game ran before no issue. No new hardware or system changes.

It sounds like Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable might not beproperly configured.
Try this link and let it install/repair Visual C++

I have tried this and it says a newer version is installed. I can run it in 32bit but not 64bit now. Now the system standards that are posted by Trion my CPU is more then enough for the game and 64 Bit ... I am wondering if they changed the back end and SEE 4.2 is needed. This would cause this issue and if so there posted CPU standards are not up to date at all.

My system is a bit old as well, running an i5-3570k which is two-three Generations ago, our GPU is the same but mine is a single GTX750Ti.

An obvious question, did you select 64-bit CPU in Glyph?, find it under "Settings - General"

Check this thread, see if it helps:

    http://forums.riftgame.com/technical...ease-help.html

It was written BEFORE rift had a 64bit version, but the premise remains the same, and you can still use Dependency walker to diagnose this issue, (but make sure you use the 64bit version to diagnose the 64bit Rift exe!!):

0xC000007B code is defined as 'STATUS_INVALID_IMAGE_FORMAT'.

Which basically means Rift is trying to load a DLL that Windows thinks is corrupted.

This can be caused by either:
    a) a 64bit DLL being loaded by a 32bit program (or a 32bit DLL being loaded by a 64bit program)
    b) A corrupted DLL
    c) Corruption on your hard disk
    d) Virus/trojan/rootkit
