Default Launch Rift, computer turns off.

As the title says, sometimes when I launch Rift my computer turns off. Sometimes it does it when alt-tabbing back into the game. Do not happen with any other game or program.

    Default Hey

I'm not an expert, but it sounds like maybe a hardware failure.
What I mean is I had a fan failure on my old rig and it definitely shut my machine down after a few minutes.
Either way, I use a free software to monitor Voltages, temperatures and fan speed monitoring; maybe this can help you troubleshoot. Best of luck

Nah it's not I thought it was hardware as well at first but it only happens during rift and I haven't reset since turning sound off. If the op still resets with sound off then we'd have to think about other things.

Guess I didn't read closely. I am stumped that launching Rift would turn your computer off.
