    Default Error #3300

    I haven't played in a while and was updating Rift. Then I get an error stating "There was an error downloading streaming updates Error #3300" I'm just curious as to what error this is so I may figure out how to fix it. I can't play. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled but i get the same thing. Is this something on my end or with the game itself?

    Angry update error streaming 3300

    I am also getting that same error while trying to update the game, Can some one please respond as to why this is happening and why I cannot update and play the game? I haven't been able to play in a few weeks as well as last person who posted. I also noticed that there isn't any error code fixes for this on the technical help pages. I have tried every fix possible and still getting the error.

    Have you tried repairing the game?
    Have you tried re-installing the game?
    Have you removed every single file related to glyph/rift and tried to re-install again? ( There are programs that let you do this)
    Have you deleted the rift folder in your Roaming folder?
    Have you recently updated your os? Was it working before the update? If so restoring os before update may help.
    Have you allowed glyph/rift to run through your firewall?
    Have you run glyph as admin?

    As I stated I tried every thing you listed and a few more! I would wonder even more if I was the only one with this problem but I am not. it worked the last time I played but now all I get is the error 3300 after I start the update. so I am at a loss for what else to do to fix it.

    THis error is just ridiculous.... I spent hours trying to address this REAL issue. Only Rift is having this issue. Defiance updated with no issue, but Rift with all disabled (firewall, antivirus and even router firewall) I still get this error.

    I was able to download all but one .pak file using the link addresses in the log file...the first one gives me an error (An error occurred while processing your request.

    Not played in a while and come back to this problem. I'm not technically minded so I've done as much as I can without a full reinstall, which I assume will be very time consuming. Originally downloaded the game through Steam and don't have the repair option in top left corner as it seems to be a different version of the Glyph client. All the folder pathways a different from the ones suggested in various threads so no idea what to delete so I'm leaving that well alone. Checked my firewall.anti virus and that's all fine. All the stuff with .pak files seem complicated and I don't want to mess around and make things worse! Any further, simple suggestions would be appreciated.

    I had the same error, and fixed it by uninstalling the game and reinstalling it.

    Thumbs down Get this Error when I installed the game on Mac..

    It was like 2015 I last played and wanted to give the game a try again, but now I got a Imac instead of a windows computer, did download CrossOVer and followed the instructions given on a youtube video that showed how to do this with CrossOver.
    I can download everything but when Im going to logg in the screen just get totally black and after 5sec the error massage #error3300 pops up and ask I want to send a repport.

    Have now tried to reinstall the game 3 times, did remove it all and started all over.
    Have removed crossover and all the folders.
    Have tried to install the patches that some says it might be, and copy/paste/remove no luck.
    Have checked my firewall and that is off.
    Have checked the router firewall and that is ok.
    Have run the game as admin.

    still no luck.. can it be that simple that it just don't wanna work on a Imac? but many others play it on a Imac so makes no sens to me..

    I have zip as experience with Macs but, although my game is now loading and running, I still get the error message 3300 when I set Glyph to 32-bit. Does a Mac installation use Glyph? It's a truly wild shot in the dark but maybe changing the settings in Glyph from 32-bit to 64-bit (or even vice-versa) is worth a try?

    ever sinnce latest windows 10 update i've had to uninstall and reinstall rift just to be able to log in once. then i have repeat the reinstall if i want to log in again. error #3300 each time. just as well i have unlimited internet or i'd be screwed. it would be nice to know if the devs are doing anything to fix this...

    Haven't played since summer and tried to update and play now that I have time finally! I was hit with the Error #3300 too! Uninstalled/reinstalled...nada. Totally bummed! (it did say "playable" at one point enough to log into an alt for a min..then as soon as I tried to switch characters, it needed to close..for what that's worth)

    Question Have exactly the same problem since Yule Event started

    The game worked perfectly fine before that. Since the present event started - I cannot download the additional content of the game as it keeps returning error #3300. Other games (for example Defiance) work perfectly.
    Windows 10 ofc

    edit: after uninstalling I cannot download more than 1.9 GB out of 17 GB of the content - the download speed drops to 0 (no, I do not have any limitations within my network - the speed is fine 600 Mbps to other games' suppliers - it is just the Rift game that has those problems).

    Folks, how many of you are STILL experiencing this issue?

    Asking for a pushy Dwarf who dealt with this earlier this year as well.
    Please link your ticket number if you submitted one (and I hope you did, it's the only way we can track these properly).

    One of our CS folks was looking into recent tickets for me, and says that of the 4 tickets no longer responding, 3 of them have logged on in the interim - huzzah!

    Now, for everyone else, I have a new request that I am going to post any time I see #3300.
    Let's work together to quash this once and for all in 2018!

    When you submit a ticket regarding Error #3300, please send us Glyph logs, which will help us identify, diagnose and FIX:

    1) Click the Start button, then in the search field type %LOCALAPPDATA% and click enter
    2) Open the Glyph folder
    3) Open the Logs folder
    4) Upload all of the files found here to your ticket.

    To update your EXISTING ticket with these files, proceed to this link and sign in with your Trion Worlds account information: https://support.trionworlds.com/hc/en-us/requests


    EDIT:
    THIS JUST IN UNDER "OLD DOG, NEW TRICKS" DEPARTMENT:

    Our Platform group now has a new way to submit logs from Glyph > Settings > Advanced:
    Click on the button "Send Logs To Trion Worlds" and then update your ticket, or, if a new ticket, let them know the date/time/time zone that you submitted it.

    I just did submit the ticket : Request #1029066, my log files were sent via Glyph.
    (Submitting a ticket is the last resort of help seeking as I do try to solve all problems by myself...)
