I'm having the same issue, 4GB download went fine now it keeps downloading 57MB with "Error 3300" every-time I open Glyph and click Play.

    I'm getting this error too.

I thought my new pc was coming today. So i uninstalled Rift/Glyph because i am giving my current pc to a friend.
Turns out my new pc isn't coming for another 3 days.
So i tried to re-install Rift/Glyph and it isn't letting me.

I'm getting this silly error like the other people in this thread.

    Default Solution on error 3300

    Hi Guys.

I have struggled for a few hours on same issue and found a solution on this.
    Hope it works for other.

Please check glyph log file.. C:\Users\"your user name"\AppData\Local\Glyph\Logs\GlyphClient0.log

Go to bottom of log file and look for following similar looking line :
ERR (#3300): Download failed with curl code 51: 0.00 MB in 1.83 seconds at 0.00 MB/s, 0% compression

4 lines above this error is a download link from where pak file is downloaded.
Should look similar like : Downloading from https://rift-update.dyn.triongames.c...62B413EC7BD01C

Copy the link into your browser and download the file.
Copy the downloaded pak file to C:\games\Glyph\Games\RIFT\Live\Download/STABLE-303-6-B-1046050/patch_core_0.pak

Start Glyph. It will not attempt to download update again. It will decompress pak file and play game.

Confirming that this worked for me. I had to put the downloaded file into:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\RIFT Game\Download\STABLE-303-6-B-1046050

    Thank you.

Glad some people have found a work around for this problem.

Unfortunately for me, i am not computer savvy enough to even try it.
So i'll wait for the experts to fix the issue.

~Hoping it will be fixed soon~

    Default error 3300

My Girlfriend also did not work the first time.
I then deleted the %temp% folder.
Started glyph, rand the update again. waited for error to show.
Closed Rift. Copied the downloaded pak file replacing the old one.

    Started Glyph .
    That worked for her.

    Day 3

    Still not working.

Any potential new players will not be able to install the updates either.

I have this problem as well. Have uninstalled and re-installed rift. Problem persists. Any news from Devs on resolution? 'fraid I am a dork around programming etc.

Try repeating the process. You may need to manually download multiple files.
I needed to to this for 4 different files but in the end it worked.
