    Default Rift Mobile & iOS 8.0

    Has anyone else had issues getting the Rift Mobile app to work since upgrading to iOS 8.0? My phone was working normally, until I upgraded to iOS 8.0. Now when I open the app using my phone, it takes me to the region select screen, where I choose my respective region (NA). The screen slides down and back up again. I am unfamiliar with how the API changed in 8.0, but my first impression is that the variable setting the region is not being set properly, thus the region selector loop.

    The other reason I believe this to be an iOS 8.0 issue, is my iPad (which is still on 7.x), is running the app fine.

    Has anyone else had this same issue when running the Rift Mobile app under iOS 8.0?

    Default Follow-up

    I should probably also mention that I followed all of the troubleshooting steps of closing the app, restarting my phone and completing uninstalling the app / re-downloading. The behavior described above doesn't change at all.

    Exact problem for me. There are a couple of other posts below but no solution I see.

    I'm so sad, no checking which friends are on, where events are taking place to jump in, and no SHINIES! Major withdrawal here.

    Default iOS 8.0.2

    Sadly disappointed that the Apple iOS 8.0.2 update did not help with the Rift Mobile app. I still get the ' select region '.... page slides right off the log-in screen and cannot input information to get the app up and running.

    Here days later and I'm having the same issue after I updated my Iphone 4s to iOS 8... which I dislike anyways, what a bummer!

    Same issue - Select Region demands my attention and refuses me shinies. Is there any point putting in a ticket to Trion?

    Same here. Worked fine on my iPhone 4s, but every since I got my iPhone 6 with iOS8 I keep getting "select region" screen. Deleted it several times and re-installed with no luck.

    It is not working on my iPad4 on iOS8 either.

    This seems to be a very dated issue, kind of surprised it hasn't been addressed yet.

    I have redownload the app, doesnt work,

    Restarted the IPAD

    says i have server connection failure, check my networksetting.

    Nothing wrong with them

    I try with a fail password and it says i have the wrong password. No problem there.

    I select Europe as region.

    I have it on a IPAD 2

    Same problem on my iPhone 5s with iOS 8.01. Deleted and re-downloaded the app but no luck. This sucks

    I put in a help ticket to Trion and got no help. They basically referred me to the knowledge base document that tells you to delete the app and re-download. I responded back to the technician and advised them the knowledge base doc isn't helpful and they never responded back. Not a great sign.

    At this point, you have to question what is going on over there. I mean nearly every iOS device is on 8.0 and this still isn't being fixed, let alone addressed and acknowledged. It is months old and still broken.
