    Default rift 2.7 update error.

when i first tried to update to rift 2.7, after about a minute there was an error window, then rift patcher closed. i tried to open it again, but after i sign in and click update it begins to update before stopping. also, i am new to rift, and every time i tried to update to rift 2.6, i would receive an error message "3145". i have tried what the support page recommended but there was no difference. i would appreciate help.

Hey! Sorry about your patching trouble, but I think I can get you fixed up.

Let's start by checking your APPDATA folder for another folder called RIFT.

    1. Press the Windows key + R at the same time to bring up your run prompt.
    2. Type in %appdata% and click 'OK'.
    3. Delete the Rift folder.

Once that is done, find your RIFT game installation folder and search for a file called SelfPatchLive. Right-click on this file and select Run as Administrator.

That should get you up and running. If not, go ahead and submit a ticket if the steps on our support site didn't get you patched up.

    Thanks for your patience!
