Default Problems with Mobs after recent patch

I'm playing on Seastone and after the most recent patch many of the mobs have spawned on in lines in different places around the world. Also the pathing of the mobs as well as pets seem to be off with them running in the opposite direction when attacked. Also I have noticed Rifts spawning in unusual spots (which isn't really bad) and the mobs are spawning inside mountains and other objects making the rift impossible to close. I've looked through the forums for other people having this issue and I have seen only a couple of other posts.

Can you submit these issues as bug reports when you come across them in game as well?

The dev team uses that information to track down specific issues with additional game data.

    I really appreciate it!

I have submitted them. I almost wonder if it is just me, but I have seen one other person ask in open chat in game and I've noticed people running around trying to get a line on a mob in a hill.

It is hard not to notice them, It is throughout the entirety of the areas I am running in. Those being silverwood and Goamwood.

Default A School of Wolves and a Submerged Guardian Stone

A bunch of wolves spawned on top of one another as well as a Guardian Stone in the wrong place. Not to mention the named wolf..Silverpaw?...from up near Sanctum Watch.

Yeah I saw this too. The whole world map is fkd up right now. Would be pro of Trion to acknowledge the problem and announce that they're working on it. Doesn't have to be a deadline date - just that they're aware and working on a solution. Would make me alot less pensive.

From what I hear these bugs only apply to the NA shards. Hope this gets sorted out soon.

Sorry about this, but we have seen reports of issues with pets and mobs coming in. We definitely thank you all for your in game bug reports. We will begin our investigation, and notify when we have any further updates. In the meantime, here are few suggestions that may help with the difficulties surrounding your pet.

"Will begin the investigatoin?" "In the meantime?" Giving me advice on how to control my pet is fine and good, I'm aware of how to control the critter. It's not even really advice when it is simply a link to the help page or when you link to the description on how to send in a bug report like the GM before. Lovely.

I know how to use your help section. Considering my join date, I might know the game itself better. I know I don't post often, that's mostly because I rarely have issues I cannot solve myself. The thing that gets me is the title "GM" Used to mean "Game Master." I remember back in the day when I was playing Ultima Online the GM's were actually playing the game. Running NPC's and mobs.

Sorry, I'm not feeling much faith in the game at the moment. This is a pretty big issue, one that occurred as soon as the most recent update. Want my advice? Roll back the update.
I'm not sure on how to do that myself, but I'm sure you guys backed up your info before you put the update in place. Here's a link on how to do it.

This is kind of dragging along. Surely the problem can't be lack of bug reports? This is affecting EVERYONE actively playing the game on the NA shards. I've tried playing on the EU shards, haven't seen the bugs there.

And lol @ the link describing how to control our pets. I understand it was attempting to be helpful, but it really does come across as rather demeaning. But thanks for looking into it.

Looks like the server restart solved the pathing issues. Thanks guys!

Dragging on? It had been a little more than a day when you posted this, it takes longer than that to find and fix issues, especially ones as far reaching as this.

As to the link, I can see your point, but please be aware that GM Dom.. the D-man.. is fairly new to this so is very likely still working from the scripts, give him time and he'll get more used to things and more knowledgeable, eventually he'll be replying from experience rather than from the manual, so please cut him a little slack for a while.
