    Default Graphics card worries.

I have integrated AMD Radeon HD 6500M/5600/5700 Series graphics on my laptop and yet I only ever seen to be able to play rift on lowest setting. Yet the hardware checker for elder scrolls says that my setup should be able to run that newer more intensive game fine, what gives?

Rift tends to bottleneck at the CPU rather than the GPU.

Also "newer" does not imply "more intensive"

hmmm...i guess. I never used to have a problem running rift at the high settings when it first came out. Since coming back though its seems to be really bad

If you're on a laptop my first piece of advice would be to take a can of compressed air to the vents. The CPU might be limiting itself due to temperature.

OK, I lied. My first piece of advice would be to stop gaming on a laptop.

We do have a few suggestions for those with Graphical issues! While some people can play without meeting system requirements, we also have a list of unsupported video cards.
