    Default Right click turn issue

Has anyone else had this issue recently?....

Right clicking mouse sometimes does not turn my char, its quite rare (though I think its becoming less so). This seems to occur more when pressing a movement key at the same time or immediately after a vendor buy or sell, but not exclusively and sometimes its completely random when it happens

Its not my mouse as its perfectly fine in other games, also I've changed to another spare mouse to test and it did the same thing as well.

Just curious if anyone else has noticed this? If not, I suspect its my Rift and I'll completely remove and re-install it - an overnight task I think though!

If you are referring to right-click hold and turn, then yes I have noticed this. For me it has been a rare occurrence but has happened since I started playing in Beta.

I’ve tried 3 different mice with no change. It happens so little for me though that I've learned to ignore it and move on as I have no idea what causes the issue.

I've noticed that the mouse cursor will act strangely during this time (disappearing and reappearing), as if something else it stealing focus from it right at that moment.

As I said, it does not happen very often for me, but I have seen this.

Well, at least its nice to know I'm not alone!

I have only started noticing it in the last few hotfixes though, and I'm pretty certain its becoming more common for me.

I think just to rule out any local corruption, I'm gonna remove Rift and re-install - can't hurt can it?

    Check this:

Transparent (empty) action bar placements are not clickthruable. With me e.g. i had the reaction skill bar on the right of my char, when you try to right click there to turn etc., the click wont be registered.

so check if you trying to click through an empty action bar place.

(This is a bug from beta1 never got fixed...).

I don't recognize this exactly problem but sometimes when turning I end up randomly looking at the ceiling.

Hmmmm, I do have my action bar slots set to not show if they are empty, so this might actually be what is happening.....

I'll test this out and let you know, thanks for this info
