Lately i see A LOT of connection issues 500 error (internal server errors) in the forum. Anyone else? experiencing problems? Trion acknowledging problems with their forums (or database prbly.). ?


PS: Got 5 connection reset from the forum while saving this posting ^^

I see other threads in this forum about this issue, including my own. I tried changing browsers and resetting my router, to no avail. What a huge annoyance, and apparently no relief in sight.

Someday, Trion will address the issue. It's been happening to me since 1.7 went live.

Forum dc is alive and well on my computer. Has anyone even addressed this problem,,anywhere? Is it related to the bad lag?

In recent weeks I've been plagued with various errors such as 500s, "server didn't return any data", timeouts, , etc. Not had these sort of problems in the year since Early Start.

I get "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading" every other page, both from home and from work (different machines, different OS, different ISPs).

I've seen this on and off since back in the beta, but it definitely has been worse lately. Happens on multiple systems, Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, different networks, different ISPs. The only common factor is Trion's servers.

Over the weekend I thought it was just my home connection but I'm getting it at work as well. It seems to come and go in spurts.

A few notes:

1. There's two forms. One (rarer) is "Your URL was rejected", with a monotonically increasing and quite large "support ticket id" or some such. Usually if this happens any attempt to reload (resubmitting the same request) will get it too, but as long as there was no POST content, going to the URL bar and hitting return is usually fine. For submissions, I can usually find some very specific hunk of post which is triggering it. I've had that be "--" or "ID", making me suspicious of a really awful attempt at preventing SQL injections.
2. The second is the plain "connection was reset". I've had this happen after a page was nearly entirely loaded, so I'm guessing it may be caused by talking to an image server or JavaScript code? I will say, it is not reliant on heavy load; I can get it at 4AM.

I have been getting a connection was reset error on a pretty constant basis for at least the past 1-2 weeks. It happens a few times every hour. All I do is refresh the page and it works fine again. But it has been happening more and more constantly recently. It is a tad annoying.
The most annoying time when it happens is when I make a post and it does it. I have to check the thread to make sure that it was posted successfully (which it usually has been).

That's what I get, nothing else.

Does this from both a workplace connection and home connection consistently. Seems like roughly every 25-30 page loads.

Started about a week ago for me, has done it every day. It will happen on any page load, even when submitting a post or looking at someone's profile.
