Can't log into game, and cannot remove authenticator

WTF!!!! I did everything I was asked when updating my account, now I can't log into the game, or remove the authenticator.. It keeps telling me that the code is wrong; I know my new password works, I used it to log into the forums. I knew I shouldn't have added it back after this mess today I typed it in as slow as I possibly could, held the phone to the damn monitor to see if the characters match up, and still I get an invalid error.. I went to the online support, clicked ask a question and I get : ERROR 500
An error has occurred. Our minions have been notified. You may try again later.

Please fix this as soon as possible

Error #2001.

Cannot remove authenticator, cannot log in, also cannot contact support as the link returns as broken. Bit unfair to force the changes on people when they don't function.

The authenticator says it is set up correctly, its Windows 7, don't know how it's been for other people.

Hey guys I figured out part of my problem, it may help you... I don't know if all of the authenticator apps have the same option, but I would believe they all do.. Open up your app, and go to setup, then, you will see the option "restore lost serial key". I pressed that, and tried to login again, and it worked.

I've done that, said it's already registered and not applicable or some crap. It's also sad there's not an official solution on that one yet.

Error #2001.

I had the same problem, even after creating a new account.
In my case it most likely had something to do with my keyboard layout (not using english US - qwerty) Try out different 'special characters', worked for me.
