    Default Error #1008?

I'm trying to update to whatever the hell this 4 hour downtime brought us, and every time I click "Update" it pops up a window that reads:

Failed to move existing file. (Error #1008)

I contacted support about this and all they told me to do was either allow it through my firewall (already done, this isn't the first update I've had to do. DUHHH) or turn off my antivirus (did that, still didn't work). How in the heck do I fix this?

Yeah, I found the problem... There was still a part of the game executing in the background. Once I ended the process, it patched just fine... Sorry

This fixed my issue. In my case it was the process "rifterrorhandler.exe"

    Thanks Joe
