Default Green/Red Screen in high settings.

I got myself a new card. Nvidia GeForce GTX 460. And my screens turns Green / Red on higer settings. It kinda sux having to play on bad settings just because of some bug. Ive heard other have had this problem aswell, so I know its not just me.

Its from playing flash videos before or while playing rift.

Workaround is to play rift in a different resolution than your desktop screen.

Ie: if your desktop is 800 x 600 and play with rift at 1280 x 1024 this issue will not happen (any resolutions work, not just the ones in this example)

    Im using Windows XP.
Here are some workarounds that work SOME of the time -

Change your resolution in the Nvidia control panel, when it asks you if you want to keep the res, you can click no.
Changing res in the Rift settings.
Turning on the low quality renderer.
Closing all other windows, logging out and in of the game totally.

The only thing that seems to fix it 100% of the time is to reboot which is just kind of lame, I saw one of two posts that it's affect people when they play other games as well but I'm not having that issue, I just wish someone somewhere would fix it.

I now know that it happens Every time that I have been looking at YouTube.
This is somthing Trion has to fix. I dont know what is causing it, but atleast I can avoide it. But it shouldnt be this way.

I know itís a bit of a pain but as a work around you may find that by changing the resolution of the game itself while the red-and-green screen is in effect will force the client to redraw and it will correct itself. Then you can change the resolution back and it should be the correct color scheme.

I'm not sure it's a problem with rift though. I have the same card and similar PC set up from what you have posted and I don't have the problem at all :/
If you want to get healed in warfronts, follow the Covenant of Healing:
    1. Stay near your team. Healing spells have a 35m range and you're not the only one who needs healing.
    2. Stay in sight.
    3. Protect your healers.
    4. Be respectful. Telling people they suck will not make them better players or want to help you more.

It must be Rift in some way. Because it has never happened to me while playing other games.
