    Default Fps help

Having some issues, I play on ultra and i get about 75 fps which is pretty good. But the past day or 2 its been really choppy and laggy. My latency is at 78ms, So i dont think that has anything to do with it, While my fps is very high its just really choppy/laggy. Is there a setting that i can do to fix it? Dont know much about settings and such. Even if i switch the settings to low i still get really high fps, But its still choppy/laggy.

Amazing that card gets more fps than my overclocked GTX 580.

If I believed everything people on the internet said, I might have buyer's remorse!

His 9800GT beats the **** out of my GTX260. Amazing. I should've never upgraded from my 7800GTX apparently.

It's not really that great, & no your not getting 75fps @ Ultra setting with a 9800gt, just no. Also no 15k 500GB hard drives on the market that I know of...

Perhaps you are exaggerating your FPS & you are in fact getting a lot less than you think you are. What are you using to check your ingame FPS?

A 9800gt, good and up to date? That card is nearly 5 years old! There's no way you're getting 75fps with a card like that when my GTX 260 is pushing 30 fps.

Just curious, does it means i'm really good with my Geforce 8800 GTS having between 23 and 26 fps in average ?

Yeah. That is good for that card. It's a very old GPU. The 8800 GTS is identical to the 9800 GTS.

I did have the hard drive wrong, Its 10k rpm Not 15. Took a guess andi got close.

As to me am or not getting 70-75 fps im sitting in game right now and the bottom left of my screen says 62 ms 72 fps. Fps jumps from 60-75ish depending on the zone im in or what i am doing and i do have shadows turned down.
My pc is only about 4 months old.

Let me put it to you this way. My PC would eat yours for a light snack, and go off in search of more satisfying food. I am running the worlds fastest single GPU and it is under a heavy overclock.

I don't get 75fps. Either you are lying about your settings, lying about your specs, lying about your fps, or running at 800x600 resolution.

    Fess up.

Not mad, just impossible to help you without the truth. Nobody believes you, because that claim is so outlandish it's easier to believe Mother Theresa struggled with a crippling ****** addiction.
