RIFT Freezes During Update

Hey,

So here's the problem... I just got home from work and went up update RIFT. The first time I updated the download completed with no problem and the installation got to roughly 1/3 of the way completed. Then my computer seemed to have froze. I could still move my mouse, change rooms in Ventrilo, and talk through my mic but everything else was frozen. I restarted and ran RIFT as an administrator. Now it started the download over, got to about 4/5 of the way done and froze again. I've tried shutting down all background programs and running RIFT to no avail. Any suggestions or fixes out there for this or am I the only one having this issue?

My guess its the CRAPPY PATCH that came out today. Just wait for the mass of people that try to log on this evening and cant then trion might come out with a fix. So far they have chosen to ingore the problem.
