    Question Why use @targettarget?

    ESC > Settings > Interface > Combat > Cast on target's target.

If you are targeting an ally, DPS goes on your ally's target/the enemy and HPS goes on your ally.
If you are targeting an enemy, DPS goes on the enemy and HPS goes on that enemy's target/your ally.

So why don't people turn on "Cast on target's target" in settings? That setting alone makes most of people's new soul macros unnecessary.

I don't understand why this is not enabled by default; I'd love to hear the explanation for that being disabled by default. I can't think of a single situation in which this being enabled is a bad thing.
Don't waste your time replying to me directly in a post.

These forums are garbage and no threads can be subscribed to properly since 2010.

I'll continue to reply here so we don't clog up that beautiful mage thread.

Having to push an extra button (self-cast) or writing a few macros (targettarget) seems like an equal trade off in effort to me. So it's as usual and everything in life personal preference.
