Default Did a nomod option ever get added...

While updating my ancient healing frames to understand primalist, I was wondering if a nomod option was ever added for macros?

    So you could have:
    cast [ctrl] some spell
cast [nomod] default spell if no modifiers pressed

    Thanks,
    Mere

    Should just be:

    Code:
    #show Default Spell
    suppressmacrofailures
    cast [ctrl] some spell
    cast default spell

Sadly it might appear that it does, but the problem is a little more subtle.

If "some spell" is on cool down (or range to target changes and "some spell" isn't castable), and you ctrl click/press the macro, you'll end up casting "default spell", even if that's not what you wanted.

IE I want to cast "some spell" and if it fails do nothing else, rather than if it fails cast default spell.

I had hoped after 2 years away there might have been a fix for it, as it was always a problem for raid frames.

Can you just bind "some spell" to ctrl-x and bind "default spell" to x?

Takes up more action bar space, but accomplishes the goal, if I'm understanding your dilemma correctly.

I'm not using key binding in that sense.

It's for the raid frame addon I wrote 2 years ago. Users configure the spells they wish to cast (and which modifiers). These are then converted to macros to fire for click events.

It was a nuisance back then, and I thought in 2 years Rift might have fixed the issue.
