    Looks pretty cool, can't wait to try it out. Any chance you can upload on curseforge, riftui has a pretty annoying approval period before it can be downloaded.

    Voodoo (US-Defiant, world 1st Akylios) is currently seeking exceptional rogue and mage applicants. Please check our recruitment thread for more information.

    It's already been approved. We try to be pretty fast about that.
    You can play WoW in any MMO. You don't have to play WoW in RIFT. Oh, and no, RIFT is not a WoW clone. Not having fun any more? Learn to play, noob! I don't speak for Riftui, but I moderate stuff there. Just came back? Welcome back! Here's what's changed. (Updated for 2.5!)

    Yep, you were much quicker than CurseForge - it's still waiting for approval there

    I have to admit, I'd much rather maintain it in just one place (RiftUI), but I guess it's the norm to put it in both.

    Thanks Lorandii

    It must keep you guys really busy approving all of the stuff that gets uploaded to those sites?

    Frequently, yes, since there are only so many volunteer moderators with so much free time. Plus, with Curse supporting so many games, there are times where it seems there are binges of new projects. For my part, until I read this thread, I had no idea you were waiting for approval, and I apologize for the wait.

    Once approved, any project using the repository system no longer has direct human moderator attention, as it becomes automated. There are still several projects and authors who do not use the repositories, and they have to be looked at by us, which takes even more time.

    Oh well, at least Gadgets is up and running!

    No need to apologise, it was still really quick, and I appreciate the time you guys spend looking after this stuff

    I didn't realise using a repo meant that releases were automated. I've setup a Git repo now - that's all really slick!

    Default Simplest Possible Gadget

    Thinking about writing some API docs, I thought I'd see what the simplest possible example gadget I could create would look like in code. Here it is:

    Code:
    -- Minimalistic Gadget Example

    WT.Gadget.RegisterFactory("HelloTelara",
    {
    	name="Hello Telara",
    	description="Hello world for Rift",
    	author="Wildtide",
    	version="1.0.0",
    	Create =
    		function(config)
    			local txtHello = UI.CreateFrame("Text", "txtHello", WT.Context)
    			txtHello:SetText("Hello, Telara!")
    			return txtHello
    		end
    })
    If a gadget doesn't need configuration settings, it's basically a single function that returns a UI frame (which would normally have a few child frames). I also wouldn't usually declare the Create method inline like this, but the idea was to make it as small as possible, and it saved a line of code (probably at the expense of an unnecessary closure)

    I just noticed on the unit frames gadget that when you change zones (via porticulum) it will lose track of your buffs and generate the following errors.

    Code:
    15:59:52: [Gadgets] ---------
    15:59:52: [Gadgets] Error: Gadgets/wtComboPointsGadget.lua:84: attempt to index field 'Player' (a nil value)
    15:59:52: [Gadgets]     In Gadgets / Gadgets_ComboUnitChange, event LibUnitChange.player.target.Change
    15:59:52: [Gadgets] stack traceback:
    15:59:52: [Gadgets] 	Gadgets/wtComboPointsGadget.lua:84: in function <Gadgets/wtComboPointsGadget.lua:80>
    15:59:52: [Gadgets] 	LibUnitChange/main.lua:49: in function <LibUnitChange/main.lua:18>

    I'm just guessing here, but I would say you are trying to access the Player unit while it is still unavailable during the loading process.

    Thanks for the feedback Noshei. Could you just check that you're running the latest version? This was reported previously and hopefully fixed

    Looks like you are correct, I did have the older version when that happened.

    I would love to be able to resize the frames. Also I'm not sure if you are working on a buff gadget, but more options for buffs on the unit frames would be great.

    Suggestion:
    Can we get a way to adjust fps, cpu, range gadgets width & height. Like to be able to have a horizontal line under my ingame map of cpu/fps gadgets that are the same height boxs.
