Default [Request] Getting latency information via addons like Inspect.System.Latency()

After seeing new command addition to addon api, command.copytoclipboard one, can we also get some little changes like this? I mean realtime displaying latency via addon api instead of hovering mouse over system would be so much handy, unlike FPS calculating there is no way we can detect latency with current limitations of addon api, since we can't use any network function etc, even adding such command and linking output of it what displayed on hovering over would do it for us , please consider adding this.

well I know Addons take up CPU and Memory, but I would only expect them to occupy bandwidth if they are communicating with their creator's database

I meant getting players current latency with game because hovering over system is mostly annoying specially when you are on raid and not sure if you have abnormal increase on your ping, fact is there is colours on system icon is changing but sometimes lets say when you usually have 30ms with server but goes up to 130ms both are showing green and you cant notice if you really had lag spike without hovering over on it etc.

So getting this information by linking it to some Inspect function would be handy, since unlike WoW's addon api we can't use any network function on Rift's addon api, so we can't measure latency with this way and simple action like this will give us information we needed.

Nope, seems you don't get that a latency hook WILL get abused.
