    Default Item.id's

I am trying to get rune item ids so I can work some more on Runecrafter Helper addon. Is there anyway to do this without creating them and then getting the details? I have downloaded the items.xml and might as well trash that since it does no good.
Also got the same info out of the recipes.xml so it doesnt help either.
    Example: Dim Deft Rune
    <ItemKey>DE96B8C50601010101</ItemKey>
    <AddonType>I68AE0B5E873081A4,4932757B0B0494BC,,,,, ,</AddonType>

None of those can be used in Inspect.Item.Detail without erroring out.

With a small addon I wrote I can mouseover a created item and will recieve an item.id
    for that rune: i0354000018E9BD57
Using that id now I can do what I want.

Now making every rune I know prob wouldnt be tooooo bad but there are alot I dont know and no way gonna buy a 500 plat rune out of the AH just to get an id.

    Any help would be great.

Mouse over an item on the AH and:

    /script local a,b = Inspect.Tooltip() dump(Inspect.Item.Detail(b))

Not sure what you are trying to find out.

    But:

    /script dump(Inspect.Item.Detail("I68AE0B5E873081A4,493275 7B0B0494BC,,,,,,"))

    Does work...

If you invoke Inspect.Item.Detail on an item type your client hasn't cached, it throws an error. It might not throw an error if you try the same one five seconds later.
You can play WoW in any MMO. You don't have to play WoW in RIFT. Oh, and no, RIFT is not a WoW clone. Not having fun any more? Learn to play, noob! I don't speak for Riftui, but I moderate stuff there. Just came back? Welcome back! Here's what's changed. (Updated for 2.5!)

Grrrr, I never even tried the whole string of numbers and commas, thought that was some string based version of a table or something. I just tried each number individually.
Thanks for getting back to this post.

Is there any way to check for the error? Its happening ALOT and im stumped.. An Inspect.Item.Lookup(item) would be nice.
