Default Addons missing from in-game list

I've been having issues with updated/new addons not showing up in the addon list in-game.
The old ones are showing but new ones doesn't get added (they're all extracted in the right folder et cetera so it's not that.) There's nothing wrong with the downloaded files, refreshing/restarting/rebooting does nothing I've tried removing and redownloading and reextracting but nothing works.

Anyone have the same issue or have any idea what can be done?

Are you positive that you're overriding the files in the correct folder? I usually just delete the add-on folder and then extract it fresh. You don't lose any settings because they're saved in another directory under Rift.

@Kreiri KBM (worked fine before I updated it for 1.9) and KaruulAlert
Although I've tried downloading random addons to see if they work, they did not.

@Riane Yes, 100%. I deleted them as well and replaced completely.
So if I delete the addon folder where should I put them? Wouldn't the addon directory ingame stop working then without it actually existing?

    Just to make sure:

paths to RiftAddon.toc files in your game folder look like
    rift_folder\Interface\Addons\addon_name\RiftAddon. toc
    or
    rift_folder\Interface\Addons\addon_name\addon_name \RiftAddon.toc ?

This whole thing just seems very weird, no one else seems to have had the same issue and it has worked fine before 1.9 (surely that shouldn't have affected it.)

Are you sure its the right RIFT folder? Maybe you have two folders (for example, one for Live Rift, and one for PTS) and extracted into the test folder by mistake?

I tried this as well now, I removed the old interface folder and the in game directory created a new one.
But it still doesn't show up in game, tried both the addons folder in My Documents and the Rift folder one still doesn't work. :/

I might've done something wrong, but since the new folder was created by the game if should work should it not?

Problem resolved, I just installed Curse Client and it handled it by itself.

    Thanks for your assistance.
