    Default Interrupt tracker add-on

Now that interrupts don't deal damage anymore, we can't know when we successfully fake casted a BD's or a MM's interrupt. This is especially annoying against bladedancers since the interrupt has no animation.

An add-on that could track our target's cds (especially the interrupts) would be an interesting addition to the game. Is it feasible / has somebody done it yet?

The functionality doesn't exist to get access to information on other players cooldowns.

Also given the fact that the default UI doesn't provide the ability to show such information it's unlikely it will be added to the addon API before / if when it's added to the standard UI.

If you look at the combat log, you will see that when a spell is being interrupted, it only tells you it is interrupted. There is no information about who did the interrupt.
I was trying to check out who actually contributed (and who did not) in the interrupt of fatal cast by some bosses (like Murdantix) with ACT and was disappointed that the combat log does not provide any information about that. Hope they will add that information into combat log so it can be utilized.

Well, the add-on would look at the combat log and detect if the player used an interrupt ability (like weapon barrage), and then start a timer equal to the cd of the interrupt.

The combat log tells us when someone uses an ability, even if it doesn't deal damage, right?

The combat log is pretty uneven when it comes to what it logs and what it doesn't.

It's quite happy to tell you someone used an item or changed roles but refuses to tell you when someone interrupts or dispels among other things.
