yeah, at the moment its really bad, not just the que, but in game lagg due to it as well. They need to upgrade the server, lock it, or at lest add another RP or pvp-rp server
Yeah, they really need to add a rppvp server, at least. This server has become flooded with random people that are either returning from other mmorpgs or just coming to troll. I'm not against returning or new players, just need more places for people to go. Thus, the lag, ques, and trolls have swarmed us. At least with another rp server the population could have the chance to normalize and give others another rp server choice.
Sigh... If only.

I think it would be cool to expand some of the server capabilities if possible
I know some people are really pushing for another rp server though, and I think that isn't a good idea. I like the population actually atm, the issue that I see at least, is having the server handle it. Splitting the population in half would mean too low/medium sized populations that would hurt a lot of the community options we have going on atm.

I dont have a problem with short ques, and these have been short compared to ones we had at launch. I also do not have a problem with 50 chat, there is an ignore option you can use to stop seeing chat from people you do not care for. If you do not use that option that is your choice but its like being mad at cars driving down the street when there is a cross walk five feet away from you.

In my opinion no it is not, there are set RP channels for that. Others may use it for IC but I have never noticed that being done.

Okay, phew. I was working off my assumptions from the WoW RP server code of conduct, which was basically "Say/Yell/Emote are in-character, global chat channels are not, anything else is at the participants' discretion (i.e. Party/Raid, custom chat channels, etc)".

Nice analogy on the cross walk, some nights though 50's chat is more like people dropping large rocks on cars passing underneath bridges.
You could ignore them if you want, but the rocks still hit cars.
I am sorry but I blame this whole box botting or whatever its called. The other day I seen this group (this was the small group) http://rift-mizfits.enjin.com/profil...426#pid=530691 and there was another group of 20!http://rift-mizfits.enjin.com/profil...426#pid=530700 right outside meridian. I think people are taking this a little far.

50chat isn't meant for IC, but there are certain unspoken rules about decency that should be followed by everyone.Is 50 chat meant to be in-character? I've never seen a verification one way or another.

agreed, but yes - "standard" RP rules apply - global channels are not where you RP
