Returning player looking for feedback :)

Hi everyone!

Long story short, I left Rift when the guild I was in had quite a lot of drama going on and it really spoiled the atmosphere for me.

I toyed around with some other games, got married, moved and now I have time to play again with a fresh mindset.

I've actually never played on an RP server before and seeing how nice everyone is on your forums, I thought I'd post and get everyone's opinion!

I have a max lvl Defiant Rogue Tank/DPS that had experience up until Greenscale before I left. Granted I'm a forgetful person and have to get accustomed to things again, he's a viable option to play.

I also have a lvl 49 Defiant Cleric I could transfer over and heal, tank or DPS with. Being only 49, his gear is terribad.

The other option is...I could re-roll. I've given this a lot of thought and I don't dislike the option. I wouldn't mind giving the Guardian side a look and playing a Mage or Warrior, but I feel like I'm behind enough on content as it is!

What say you friendly folk? Whatever I do...I think I'm sold on moving over here and attempting to fit in

If I were in your shoes, I would re-roll. Reason being they have added mass amounts of new content and changes that would best be experienced with a new character.

Personal opinion is that you would get the most enjoyable experiance out of re rolling and seeing all the changes that have been mde to the game since you last played. That being said theres still alot to do on your max level charecter and I'm sure youd find some enjoyment in that as well

I'm trying to convince my wife to re-roll with me. We will probably play Guardians, since we haven't seen that side. Hopefully we can make some friends over here.

I would also re-roll. Every time I took a break from WoW I ended up re-rolling because it was easier and more fun. These MMOs change so often that if you take anything longer than a month break your class was probably changed so much that you are better off.

I am now on Faeblight. Guardian, lvl 11 warrior named Kilganon Looking forward to learning the tanking ropes with this class now instead of my rogue.

If my wife re-rolls as well, I will have a second character with her.

I played for a bit last night and I was very happy to see how talkative chat was in the 1-29 area, I hope it continues that way in the other brackets as I level up.

I logged back in after a loong break to find my server was turned into a trial one!

SO now I am here on FAE,...and was surprised at how crowded it was in the city!,..

Surprised in a good way,..I like to be in busy servers,..so, like you ,I hope it lasts through the levels!
