Brigid tromped along the road in Gloamwood Pines, glancing around at denizens and travelers, alike, looking for likely candidates. Since Paxxar had gotten it into his head to unite some of the like-minded Ascended for the common goal of fighting the evils invading the land, she supposed she should work on that. At least, as much as she dared. Except…this new band was definitely going to make things harder for her….

She checked behind her. The cat was still there, as always. Brigid sighed and turned back to the task at hand – recruiting enough Guardians to keep Paxxar from dying before she accomplished her objective. At least recruiting would have one good thing going for it.

~Guardians of the Vigil~ (Guardians/Shadefallen) is a casual, medium RP guild. We’re semi-mature (we don’t care about player ages and backgrounds, but obnoxious behavior will earn a boot. That being said, we have our moments of being a little silly). We’re RPers, but that doesn’t mean we’re also not alt-a-holics, levelers, PvP enthusiasts, casual raiders and crafters. We’re rules -light- use common sense, leave real life religion and politics, and especially ego-driven commentary at the door. No RP griefing, and toons named things like “Ipwnurface” aren’t who we’re looking for.

As far as RP, we do pick up RP, scheduled events for both guild and faction, and occasional plots. Guild chat is OOC but we have an IC channel if you lean toward RPing while leveling. If you don’t, no big deal – casual is casual. No one is going to force you to stop what you’re doing to attend something, participate in anything you aren’t interested in, or tell you how to play your character. Participate as much or as little as you wish, and feel free to throw in your own ideas and events – we love that!

GotV also has a web site (http://guardiansshadefallen.guildlaunch.com/) and vent (not really using it atm). We don’t app or interview; instead we prefer to give players a chance to see if we’re for them by invite and trial membership. Whisper Brigid, Paxxar or Karren for an invite.
