A sad (but not expected) day

I am truly sorry to see my old home Sunrest being "Trialed"
I remember at launch when Sunrest was the #1 US server, waiting in queues for 45 minutes, zones overwhelmed with players. A lot of good people on Sunrest, for sure.
Though most of us have moved on (in my case to Faeblight, others to Deepstrike it seems), I will always consider myself a Sunrester.

Some of the most fun, I've had was Sunrest. Running PvP battles with the Herectics... I too consider this the land of my (Rift)birth.

I blame Trion and the Defiants LOL they always following from servers to servers creating major unbalance. Same defiants guilds went from Harrow to Sunrest, Sunrest to Deepstrike. It made PvP NOT fun when guardians were overwhelmed average of 5-6 defiants per 1 guardian.

So, I don't play all the time. But when I do, it is nice to have characters to play. WTF are you supposed to do when your character is suddenly Sunrested? Now I have 3 characters I can't use because they are locked into Sunrest.

Worse still, I bought this game for me and my two kids to play together now and again. Both with one year subscriptions, and both with characters on Sunrest. They are not the type to fix it, they will just abandon it, and now I am basically out the annual subscription rate for both of them, because if they can't use their level 48 and 42 characters, they will NOT start new ones.

you can still transfer you characters whenever you want... go to character select screen, and click...wait for it..."transfer"
