Let ye' faithful look upon my visage and feel shame, for I shall sacrifice in your stead and dance to the song of blades; I shall consumate the marriage of Defiant flesh and Guardian steel, I shall be your vanguard against the storms of dragons. I seek not the devoted or the valiant in my struggle, for blind faith and courage serve only to hasten demise and quicken our ascension into the annals of the histories, to be invoked alongside those failed peoples of our past when one seeks to make a case for cowardice.

No, those who share common cause with me shall find in my sacred charge a final stand against the overwelming forces that besiege us. Only those who worship strength aswell as the gods shall do, for strength shall be our vessel to victory and cunning shall be our compass.

To the wayward children of the gods, whom have brazenly named themselves for the most heinous of sins. Defiance. In me ye' shall find solace, for I shall return you to the embrace of the gods. For your rejection of spiritual respite exempts you from repentance. As I shatter your shell, I shatter your defiance and absolve your sins and your eternal soul shall be freed from your heinous crimes. Though we may be outnumbered, we shall stand proud and mayhaps die proud. In time, if you are wise, you shall look upon my visage and know the meaning of dread.
