Renegade Legion is an international guild, open to all English-speaking players, regardless of location.

The guild has no specific focus. We are not a "hardcore raiding guild" or a "world pvp guild" or a "family guild" . . . we are instead a "Core" guild. That is to say that the goal is to offer all our members the option to enjoy what it is about Rift which intrigues them. We are, to put it another way, a "Guild-of-all-Trades" . . .

The history of the Legion is long and storied, with many triumphs, and of course no shortage of bumps in the road. Since a 2003 foundation on PlanetSide's Werner server, Renegade Legion has been a force to be reckoned with in almost every major MMO released since. With the release of Rift the game's Renegade Legion Chapter has chosen Stonecrest in hopes for the potential of a diverse member body. (We value people from all different backgrounds and cultures.)

In particular we'd like people with off-peak play hours to feel comfortable in our ranks! (Though we of course have activity during US peak times!)

Renegade Legion is recruiting all callings, all souls, and all types of players.

The primary things you need to be aware of before joining are as follow:

1) We're an adult guild, so while we accept players under 18, generally we expect them to be vouched for by an adult member. Naughty language and off-color humor are the norm, not the exception.

2) We take playing seriously while trying to have fun. This means that while people will be expected to pull their own weight, they should also not trash each other over perceived performance issues.

3) The guild works with hierarchical rankings which are designed to recognize different levels of member. This allows the guild to differentiate between members who are purely in it for teh lulz (the purely social members) and those who are more dedicated to pushing the skill envelope (in whatever way they prefer) and thus make sure everyone can enjoy the game in their own way.

4) The guild's TeamSpeak 3 server and VB forums are available for use in coordinating with fellow guildmates, and are expected to be utilized when requested by the guild leadership. (Listening in on TS is sufficient for many purposes. A microphone is however preferred, and may be required for specific roles during PvP and PvE activities.)

So there you go. No bells, whistles or frills, just a guild with a history looking for some good recruits to fight all new battles in Telara.

While we've had some nice initial response, we find ourselves in more need of members of the Warrior and Cleric callings in specific.

Recruitment is OPEN through March 4, and all callings are certainly welcome, but I wanted to mention that these specific callings were more desirable at this point in time.

We have made a nice start on getting folks into the guild, but we're always looking for more likely candidates!

No matter what type of gameplay you're interested in, we're open to it in the Legion. PvP, instances, raiding, rifting . . . members are encouraged to enjoy the entirety of what Rift has to offer!

Plenty more room (with diversity comes the need for plenty of folks to join in the fun) so drop a line here, on the Legion forums, or in game! (Dust, Soul, Buliwyf, Ka or Leuce are good contacts!)
