Default Why Trion is making a mistake by making Snarebrush a Trial Server.

This post is a retaliation at Trion for deciding to close Snarebrush. Snarebrush is a very low population server. Anyone who has logged into it knows. If you were to check the auction house it would be less then 1000 auctions. There are less then 300 level 50's across both factions that are on Snarebrush.

All of this on the face of it makes Snarebrush look very unattractive and compared to other servers less profitable. What this doesn't show is how tightknit of a community this is. Everybody knows the active players on the server and we regularily get together and do content. Son of a Lich on the Defiant side is now raiding. Vae Victus on the Guardian side is infamous for their ganking.

What you don't see except by playing is that when someone kills you on such a low pop server it is personal. It isn't just killing because they're red, it is because that guy killed my guildie last week when we were doing a zone event. We know each other and we are growing. If you look at the players reaching 50 and staying that number is continously going up.

The players that are on such a low population server are there for a reason. We want world pvp where we don't run into an enemy player everytime we zone in. We want the tightknit communtiy that a low pop server brings. As a guild leader on Snarebrush myself I urge you to reconsider or directly merge us with another server. When you allow transfers to just everywhere you crush the server community that has been steadily growing.

I agree. I made a similar thread that was less thought out. I missed yours when I made mine.

I was just reading this http://forums.riftgame.com/official-...tag-trial.html thread and noticed that it doesn't say anything about having to transfer a non-trial character.

In fact it says, "As always, under our current Trial program, new players remain welcome to sign up and play with their friends on existing shards, Trial or otherwise." It's a bit old, but it might still be valid.

I know a lot of people are already jumping ship, but it seems like we could theoretically stick around. The only down side would be getting a higher pop of noobs, and maybe having to queue to log in, and we can't create new characters on it. If not, it would be great if we could all go to the same high school together. Errrrrr new shard.

I left Snarebrush as soon as transfers went live because there was just never anyone around to help with anything. Hell I only ever got ganked 3 times in 35 levels. That's just sad

Just move your community to Briarcliff or Seastone.
