A long time ago, when I played my first MMO (Archlord) I had a guy who kept killing me every time I would try to leave the city. Finally, I asked him why he was doing it. Did he really enjoy ganking me? His response was matter-of-fact: It's part of the game. Most people do it at one time or another. One gets to the point where there really isn't much else to do. I told him that I don't see it his way and that I won't ever follow suit. He said...you'll see.

Well, he was right. I eventually created toons solely for the purpose of ganking and had great fun with them. Part of the thrill was to avoid getting killed by my victim's friends.

I have toons in both factions. I've been to Gloamwood and Stonefield to gank.

    It's part of the game.

There are actually more parts to this game than just "ganking" As I've played my fair share of MMO's I came to the realization that it's the most unskilled players that take the time to go find lower level players to go and kill.

So keep it up buddy, I'll keep killing your pathetic level 50 while I'm level 30, it just makes it that much sweeter when you rage.

Doesn't help that you have to go really out of your way to go to those zones to gank. I don't think there was anything wrong with blowing up a few mid-20's players on your way to DSM as a guardian pre-LFG. But I'm not sure about going there specifically to gank lowbs.

I agree that it gets just a little frustrating when you get ganked about a million times. I'm sure we've all had it done to us more than once. I've played on all types of servers and honestly I feel that the thrill of danger makes things more interesting. It's insanely boring to walk around doing the same old grind every day questing to max level. Then you hit 50 and what? Sure you can instance and do some WF's, but even then that too can get old. Having to be constantly aware of your surroundings spices things up imo and this is coming from the point of view of someone being hunted. I rarely go out and gank anyone myself.

Another thing to consider is most of the people here who do gank and this includes Blitz. Although yes they do gank people they have given you all of the answers you need to solve it. Adapt to the situation, that is the one and ONLY answer to it. If they kill you in a specific spot in Gloam, pack it up to chill in town and Q for something or heck just move to another spot and be mindful of what's going on. As it's been stated multiple times you can even ask for help and go hunting for the one who was previously the hunter. Most people who gank actually anticipate a little retalliation of some sort. So give them what they want, bring a couple 50's or just a bunch more people your lvl, band together and crush the person who was going after you. I'm sure we've all heard this before but there's no point in yelling or complaining about these sort of things. In all honesty it can just make it worse than it was before. So adapt and fight back or move on but in the end don't complain...actions speak louder than words.

On a side note, I find it interesting that you like Rogue for the sole reason of it's offensive abilities in regards to ganking Blitz. I on the other hand have enjoyed it for it's defensive capabilities regarding gankf ests. Just the other day I had a lvl 50 warlock (not sure what other souls it had) attacking the Defiant town near the fire rift in Stonefield. They saw me as I rode in to grab a chromium node an d I stealthed just ebfore they could finish a cast. I stalked around watching what they were going to do and low and behold they attacked another lvl 33 that was near the healer. So I waited a few moment and opened up my own attack. I dide die from dots but he also died from my bleeds and I was only lvl 35. All good times to be had for sure.
