Default Looking to form smaller, tight-knit guild.

Mega-guilds are great for some things, but rather impersonal and a lot of people miss out on groups and raids, not to mention the constant green text scrolling at 5 lines a second.

I'm interested in forming a guild with no more than 25-30 people with the eventual goal of tackling end-game content. This way everybody gets a chance to raid and nobody feels left out.

I raided successfully in "that other game" for two years because our guild avoided the drama of Joe Tank or Betsy Healer complaining about not getting a raid spot. We kept it close and nearly the same group of players were in every raid. This also gives people the advantage of learning the playstyles of others and makes for a much more cohesive group with fewer wipes.

If you're interested, contact Sintek in-game. I don't care about being the guild leader, and would actually prefer not to be, but that can be worked out once we get the initial 5 people.

Also, I don't believe only people 25+ can be mature players. The only requirement is that you have a microphone and are not afraid to use it. Communication is vital to succeeding, especially in a 20-person group.

If I'm not in-game, feel free to friend me, mail me, or message me here on the forum.

    Thanks.

I played that other game for 6 years, did the hardcore guild, did the huge casual guild, and did the smaller casual guild. The smaller guild, while we had to pug a person or two sometimes for raiding, was by far a better environment. We all became good friends, and there was no loot drama, and no yelling during raids. Well, maybe a little yelling when we were successful at progression and got a new boss down.

I've had guild and raid leading experience so I'd happily do either. For the foreseeable future I have a lot of time on my hands and expect to be in-game an inordinate amount.

I'm still in my teens since I started yesterday so I have a ways to go yet. Hit me up in-game on my Cleric, Rob. I have a history of alt-itis, but it's generally for the betterment of the guild (I have 1 of each class at 85 in that other game raiding or ready to raid, only I let my accounts expire.)

I'd also like to see about getting some PvP groups going, since as far as I can tell there is PvE gear to be had from it (flashback to my raiding rogue getting the BiS PvP swords back in the day.)

That sounds great. Group PVP would be a lot of fun. Feel free to contact me in-game if you want to discuss it further.
