Is that the one where you have to prod the boars and they charge and fling you everywhere? When I did it it rewarded a rare sourceshard thats used in Scarwood, but now I think it just gives planarite...

No, you still get the blue sourceshard but only once i think.
And yeah if youre at a level when the boars attacks don't do that much to you, its a pretty fun quest.

worst quest ever - I accepted the quest, did it, and can't find the NPC to turn it in -_-
ya hafta go under the tree and use your spell on the ancient wardstone and he will pop. and set up camp. And offer you a chilled drink.
