Server Merger Please

I know there will be a lot of people that will dispute this but the server population has dwindled to the point that I hate to say this, but I am close to going back to WoW. This game has a whole helluva lot of potential but if the server population is this low it is very concerning. Please, if you agree with me tag a post on here and let the folks at Trion know. If you disagree with this please post elsewhere. We need to bolster the numbers on the server so that it isnt just a Tuesday Night between 7 and 10 server. Not everyone works or plays at certain hours and to restrict that play by not admitting the numbers need help then you're just plain stupid.

I agree. Unfortunately the server population is such that a tank can spend 30 minutes or more waiting for a group. I am enjoying the game quite a bit, but I think it would be good to increase the population.

This has to be a troll....because most days/nights I log in, server pop is medium to high. Last poster to say there are a lot of "tanks" is telling it like it is. Plus, people are interested in leveling at the moment and learning the game, not running instances.

But hey, if you want to go back to WoW, go ahead....you won't be missed.

Every time I checked the server pop has been med-high.

I know at times it doesn't feel like that but there's usually plenty of people talking in level chat.

And when we get invasion events start in a region there's always at least 1 full raid going so I can't see any problems at the moment.

And the problem with groups is the same as it with WoW. Dps are 10 a penny. Anybody can play a dps'er. Tanks and healers will always be rare and you will always be waiting for one.

You have 3 choices.

1) Roll a tank or healer.
2) Suck up the waiting time.
3) Go back to WoW and still wait for a tank and/or healer.

Ok Its not a troll and i am a Tank and I have been playing since the early beta. Please I asked if you didn'yt agree with this to make anot post elswhere. I am not tryingto argue or start an arguement. I want those that support this idea to respond. Yes you might have your opinion but thats not what I am looking for. I am retired and have a lot of time on my hands so I spend it playing MMO's. I have been on for hours and spammed LvL 50 Tank LFG and no response. So please feel free to respond to me in game when you want to run CC or AP. Until then find somewhere esle to post.

To the OP: I know you don't want "disagree" posts, but I don't see how you would want to bias your polling with only agree posts.

Last night Momentum raided rifts in Iron pine, Shimmersand, and Stillmoor. We struggled to find a minor tear to open because as soon as one was ready, it was lure almost immediately. We noticed large groups of people stopping all the invasions (9pm EST to about 12pm EST). As we ran around raiding, we noticed many people getting involved and the areas were definetely busy. So there has to be some volume of activity when it comes to open content.

As for experts, the two weeks have been instant invites for me as a direct specced healer. I've seen many groups tank and dps ready; but lacking a healer to make it happen. Armstrong was posting for over an hour looking for a healer on sunday. There is lots of activity, but I think Dimroot is lacking direct healing classes. A bard just isn't enough for an expert atm. I agree with the above posters that maybe it's just a missing archetype or not enough geared players for experts atm.

I can't speak for mornings and afternoons in the weekday. So if that's the times you are having trouble finding groups, then disregard this post.

Well your arguement doesn't hold much water.

All because you can't get a group doesn't mean the server is empty and we need to merge. As mentioned above, start your own group and see what happens than.

Of late I've been playing around 1-4am EST and there are plenty of groups and people. Warfronts are less than 5 minutes queues if that, I've been able to find groups for Instances as a DPS within 45 minutes at worst. My characters are upper 40's and low teens.

Dimroot isn't max pop like Briarcliff granted, however we are doing just fine. Maybe after the initial 30 day freebie things will be different but I think our server is pretty good pop wise

Never really had an issues. Takes at most 10 minutes to find enough people for a full, competant group at 50. And that's on a really slow day.

I dont' want a server merger unless they can guarentee that everyone gets to keep the names they have chosen (characters, alts AND guilds) and that the que times remain at 0.

I picked this server because there was no que time and now I have found many friends. If they shuffle us off to another server, or another server onto ours, this might be disrupted.

Personally, I haven't had trouble finding a group at all. A little slow to form groups for Low Level Instances, but never any trouble to close rifts or invasions.

I think, the best solution would be to allow server transfers for those who are interested. But dont' expect them to be free. If you would prefer a free server MERGE to a paid server transfer (if they become avail) .. well, that's not fair to the rest of us who are happy.

PS - If you start a thread on a forum, asking if people want something, you have to expect that those that do NOT want it will chime in as well.. Otherwise your poll is skewed. (just noticed your "if you agree, please respond" comment)
