Cool Om Nom Nom Nom (Guardian) and Majestic (Defiant) "sister" guilds

If you're like me, you can't pick a side and had to have one of each race so I created guilds on both sides of the pond. If you're looking for a "guild" that you can hang with the same people on either side, look me up.

A bit more about the guilds. We don't take our game too seriously and just want to have fun.

If you're one of those people who verbally abuse someone for "stealing" your tin node (even though another will respawn in a minutes time) because you raced them there, won the race but got jumped so they got the node; you take the game too seriously and we're not for you.

Like to create drama and have your trolling "Barrens chat" in guild chat as well? We're not for you.

Need your hand held on every aspect of the game because you refuse to play the game to learn how something works, we're not for you.

If you're a min/maxer and thinks anyone who doesn't play their character EXACTLY the way you know is the right way to play it feel you must belittled them so they can be made to see the stupidity of their ways by telling them how stupid they are, we're not for you!

    BUT!

If you like to chatter, cut up, joke around, be friendly and helpful, we're definitely for you!

If you like being helpful and giving advice or even have times when you are needing a bit of advice or guidance and would like a safe, helpful, and lambaste free chat to kick that sort of stuff around in, we're definitely for you!

If you just want to play the game and enjoy yourself doing whatever you feel like doing without your guild obligating you to do what they want you to do, then we're definitely for you! ;)

If you like being "part of the team" and prefer your guild to be more like a second family, we're definitely for you!

Look me up on Merriweather, Zanniel, or Bellandwyn on the Guardian side or Jooliena, Silvatia, or Snowdonia on the Defiant side for an invite. Peace!

You have me considering.... I'd like more info please.

How big is your guild (are you friends coming from another game, or are you starting fresh on Rift DR and are just slowly growing the ranks)

You sound like a very casual guild type. Correct. So, if I'm interested in lore-hounding and Acheavement searching, even above leveling, I'd be a welcomed member and not pressured to "get a move on"? (cause that's the way I play. I like the rifts and the invasions, but I don't rush out to help if I'm not in the mood.. ya know?

What time zone are the majority of your players from (if you know)... and is there a majority who play at night, day, mornings, weekends only? If there are only a few members, this doesn't really matter much.... but its helpful to know. (I am East Coast, but play a lot of mornings (9am est) so there are not usually many people online)

Unfortunately, we couldn't manage to pull any of our guildmates away from EQIIX so we're basically starting fresh and slowly building the ranks.

Yup! I do know and it's also how I roll. ;) I love exploring, I love duoing with my husband as we tend to pair up some of our characters (but it's not exclusive all of the time although some times, you just want to do your own thing and not have to think about extra people), I love to solo as well, enjoy grouping and learning dungeons with people and I LOOOOVE glowies! :P So, I have many different play styles all of which are not conducive to a strict, "real guild" atmosphere. I don't expect anything from anyone in the guild other than common sense and courtesy.

Well, so far we've been hanging on the Guardian side a lot so the Nommers have more members (Maj only has one other besides the husband and myself) but given that everyone is fresh and new, I have no idea what time zone they are in. The husband and I are in Australia so our play times tend to span many different peak (and odd) times for the northern hemisphere.

I hope this extra information has helped.

EDIT: Oh, and additionally, we need someone other than me interested in helping to build our ranks as well. Definitely not forced on anyone but someone willing to take on that responsibility would be stellar!

The name is possibly the worst I've ever seen....other than that I like the background in EQII. That shows you have experience with a more mature and difficult game than the typical WoW. I myself was the guild leader of the servers leading raid guild for several years....but then life happened

Worst you've ever seen? Cookie Monster RULES! And believe it or not, the name is a petty good way of weeding out unwanteds. People who are usually "too cool" to be in a guild with a name like Om Nom Nom Nom are usually people we wouldn't want in our guild anyway. ;)

Not trying to be too cool, just names like that can take away from immersion for people.

o_O. Sorry Steve, but someone fell off the useless tree and hit every branch on the way down .

    Thats fair to say.

It's also fair to say if in the classic western movie "Unforgiven" Clint Eastwood had a wild gunfight with the villainous Gene Hackman on Sesame Street it might be funny, but it would also ruin the imersion for some people.

You're right! Cuz words floating above people's heads doesn't ruin immersion AT ALL!

You don't like the name, we get it. Don't join, no skin off my nose. Moving on now!

My partner and I have toons on both sides and are relatively new to Rift although did participate in the beta.

Looking for a cruisey guild to hang with. We are east coast Aussies.

I like to PVP and sometimes run instances, she likes to quest and collect things.

She's a Storm Mage and I'm a chloro on defiants.

I'd love to add your character names to my friends lists so I can keep an eye out for you. Life's been busy lately so my playtime has been a bit sporadic.

    Sooo...

My Gf and I have been tolling with these guilds for 5 days. Very nice people, happy to PVP and talk tips n tricks.

Hopefully our numbers will be big enough to do a few mid-level instances soon
