Not really sure who all is in your guild or all was there, I know a few names but it doesn't really matter.

Today you decided to grief a Company raid on Baron. I know this is a PvP server and that's fine. Up to this point we'd always had a reasonably considerate relationship between guards and defiant. We generally let you participate in invasions, especially bosses, so long as you didn't attack us. That's right I said "LET you." Any guard who's been around a while knows 90% of the time PvP starts during an invasion the guards lose horribly. Why? Because we outnumber you.

What you did today (Yoona, Spatula, Mathi, The Other Guys who were there) has unfortunately for you put your guild on Company's KoS list. No more leaving you alone when your afk. No more letting you participate in invasions. No more not ganking you. That was not "friendly PvP" it was outright griefing. Also, expect to be spawn camped, a LOT (something I have not done to anyone, yet).

Hiding in the river of souls until we started baron so you could come out, silence and attack healers is not PvP, that is griefing.

Hopefully the rest of the server can maintain the relatively civil, considerate, friendly, atmosphere we've enjoyed to date.

M O thi ... just for future reference It was all in fun. It's a pvp server. Don't get all bent out of shape....or do I don't really care. If you want to waste your time spawn camping by all means anyone who sticks around and allows you to do it deserves it. Looking forward to running into you guys. Sadly it will be pretty bs for the most part as rogues are gimp, so I'll just be cc annoying you all. Don't worry you're welcome for the prestige in advance <3

I'm not really bent out of shape per say, was just a little surprised that this was the type of relationship you all want.

I should also say that I don't speak for Company in it's entirety, I'm just a member, not a leader. However several other members did express similar sentiments to me own.

As I said in my original post I know this is a PvP server. I just think there is a big difference between friendly PvP and griefing. What happened tonight was griefing. If you wanted PvP you could've come out of River of Souls anytime and let your PvP immune timer run out without running back in, but all you wanted to do was wipe our Baron raid.

The Shimmer Incident from what I heard was a result of a bunch of guards ganking people doing a rift. Which then carried over to "screw you, you can't have the boss." I know I've said it a million times during invasions, guards who can't play nice tend to die. But for the record I'm always a healer during bosses, so I'm not the one starting it and am not always sure who does, just what I read in raid chat. But there's still a big difference between fighting over an invasion and outright griefing which is what your guild mates did. They didn't just try to wipe us once, it was none stop camping in River of Souls waiting to wipe us every time we started without actually being willing to do any real PvP.


P.S. Ummm, yes. My guild got shard first for DSM about a week ago. I wasn't on that run but I've done it since.

LOL. We spawned the boss 100%, we got all the rifts. We then proceeded to tank it and put it down to 80% outside of the town where there were no guards, to which about 15 useless defiants ganked us from behind. Which then resulted in us ****** them until the bugged the boss into their guards (I got 53 kills in about 20 minutes of play in a healer spec). After we killed them the first time I said in /y lets do the boss now, PvP after - instead they proceeded to gank us continually every time we tried to go back to the boss. After we cleared them out again I then said in /y once you stop attacking us we will stop attacking you. They didn't

PS: Nice lie, I was on the run where every mob, item and boss were server firsts for us. End game progression is hard, even harder when you have to lie about it.

First, must be a different shimmer invasion. The one I'm thinking of was a big earth shaman guy outside that first little town, and I tagged the thing and tanked it until the raid showed up. So I guess I wasn't there for the invasion you're talking about.

Regarding DSM, I was not lying, though it wouldn't be the first time the game has reported shard firsts separately for both sides. If you've ever been there for an invasion first you'd know guards "always get shard first" but then on defiant side we see someone get shard first too. I'm pretty sure Permadrunk has been around for such things.

I'm rather saddened by your attitudes regarding all of this. First of all, are you sure it was Company that was attacking you during an invasion? Or even if there were a few in there, were they ALL Company? That's one of the reasons invasions are so different, it's just a huge free-for-all of people and it really just takes one person to set off a war between the sides.

Honestly until today I had a rather good opinion of your guild, largely because of a few members (opinion of them remains unchanged) which I basically leveled with/against in WFs who have always been fair (e.g. not ganking me while afk, involved with a bunch of mobs while questing, doing a rift, w/e) and polite and I have always done the same in kind. But since you all seem very intent on being antagonistic I suppose I have to accept that.


P.S. I realize my initial post was antagonistic. I made that while still rather frustrated over the senseless griefing done by your guild mates and likely I should not have made such a post in the first place. However, given the inability to edit/remove posts after 5 minutes it shall have to remain. Needless to say the responses here have done nothing to improve my attitude towards your guild.

Good, so you admit that it was your mob of defiants that antagonized the guardians? We were there purely for world spawns not for PvP, we are luckily geared enough (funnily enough through server firsts) that we can stomp battle grounds without having to back stab in world PvP.

Yes I understand that, hence the 180 on my tone above for purposes of this thread. However, regarding in game who antagonized who first when? How many days are grudges over a particular event going to be held?

Given that the status quo on our server regarding invasions has always been sometimes we fight over bosses, sometimes we work together does that really justify an escalation to griefing? As I mentioned previously, the trouble with invasions is it's just a big mess of people and things happen. A misplaced AoE, bad tab targeting, some **** wanting to start ****, etc...

An example of the above was some random guy in a stillmoor invasion the other day apparently picked a fight with some guards (I do believe they were from your guild, or some were don't remember). I was riding past on my way to the boss that had just spawned and before I could get past I got CC'ed and mobbed while still mounted. I died, respawned, got mobbed before I could drink, respawned, healed up and slaughtered the lot of them. From my perspective the guards started it, they claimed the defiants did. Really, one guy started it and I was just as happy to let him die for it. There was an invasion I had more interest in at the time.

Unless I'm much mistaken griefing has never been the status quo on our server and honestly I'd hate to see it become that way. I'm well aware that Nme was displeased with me for ganking him when he just came out of a WF with zero mana in Stillmoor today, which prior to today I wouldn't have done (Sorry Nme, kinda feel bad about that now). Is this the status quo we want?

All I'm asking is you guys really think about this. It will likely be worse for you due to the severe population imbalance that exists, however I'm well aware there will be times that guards outnumber defiant.
