Good, so you admit that it was your mob of defiants that antagonized the guardians? We were there purely for world spawns not for PvP, we are luckily geared enough (funnily enough through server firsts) that we can stomp battle grounds without having to back stab in world PvP.

I admit I know nothing about the event to which you are referring, please don't put words in my mouth.

So you say you now have a bad view of us, yet it you admit that you were the antagonist that set this whole thing off yet its our fault? We deserve an apology for the slanderous ******** that you contradicted within 1 page of the OP. You abuse us, then say its our fault.

I said I have a negative view of your guild, yes.
I said I was the antagonist of this argument in the forum due to me making a post while in a sour mood.
I said the in game events are your fault due to the griefing (also the cause of my sour mood).

I have not contradicted myself in the slightest. I made some heated remarks in an antagonistic tone, I regret the tone, I do not regret the general message of "So we're griefing now? WTF?!? I thought you guys were better than that, guess not..."

You do not deserve an apology, your guild members were being griefers, I called them out for it. If it looks like a ****, walks like a ****, and talks like a ****... well you get the idea. Thus far of the responses seem to be of the opinion that griefing is acceptable behaviour and that there will be more of it in future regardless of how the defiants feel about it or behave.

Prior to today I have never griefed or been griefed. I liked that about our shard, I know you guys have been around the whole time so either I've never really run in to you or you've decided you want to bring griefing to Carrion. Are you sure that's what you want?

Ahh, don't think I've ever had an experience with Ire where I've seen him do that. But then all I see is him bragging when winning a WF and then whining about something (Pyros, bad team, rogue porting up a cliff, healer imbalance, etc...) when losing, sometimes in the same match.


Regardless it seems there are very different attitudes present within both guilds. I know some of the people in "The Other Guys" are not antagonistic or greifers as I have said. I know some people in Company are the same. I also know there are some antagonistic people who may or may not greif on both sides.

Guess I just wish we could all get along while killing each other (strange I know) and it really frustrates me when people intentionally harass and annoy others which tends to make me want to give them a taste of their own medicine. Yup, bad response.

I will finish by once again apologizing for the way I started this thread and the way I said what I had to say but not the contents of the message. Certain members of "The Other Guys" were behaving in a way which is completely inconsistent with what I have come to expect from "The Other Guys" and our server in general. A friendly love/hate relationship between guards and defiants but maybe I've just been deluding myself by thinking the invasion wars were just all fun and games for everyone since you some of you guys seem to be really upset over it.

I like the policy, but I think it's one of those "ideal world" things, like my desire for a greif free server. I don't attack guards and am often one of the people telling people in raid to just do the invasion, down the boss and mob you guys after (I want my prestige :P). But like I say one person (from one side or the other) starts **** and next thing I know I'm getting CC'ed and attacked because I'm a healer. Then I tell people to get the guards off me.

I won't re-roll PvE because I like PvP servers, just hate greifing. I don't see the enjoyment in upsetting someone just because. I do enjoy when I'm out questing and stumble upon a guard, or they stumble on me and we start going at it. It's just when friendly PvP becomes harassment that it bugs me (fine line I know).

I know your specs (roughly) and your gear (roughly) and what you can do with them. And I'm certain you're not afraid of me, what am I gonna do? Stare at you for 10 minutes until one of goes OOM again (or a WF pops)?

As for the rest of my guild, I wouldn't expect this to blow over any time soon especially if more incidents like today (meaning the whole chain of events revealed here not just the Baron thing or even any single part of it) occur.

It was Company and Verus - Defiant and Guardian. They were the two guilds competing.

The site I use is accurate for shard firsts. Is it up to the second accurate? No, it is not.

I'm still trying to figure out why people complain about you while leaving your healers to freecast 100k of heals, when they charge you solo when there are two-three others with you, etc. It is kind of annoying to be on their side.

I honestly don't get healed much ... I rock lots of sorb.. but yeah jumping mage in GoS , when one of you just gets detaunted and the other burned is silly.

Have you ever noticed it looks like the Defiant are chasing butterflies? No focused targets - lots of charging solo in against multiple people (other than suicide runs against EFCs) - beating on the guy with 2-3 healers on him wondering why nothing is happening - etc, etc, etc.

Wish I could say it was the Mill/Three Defiant that were doing a lot of it - but I see a bunch of it from the Carrion folks. They do realize they rolled on a PvP shard...

...bah, I should shut up.
