Hello All,

I am Rythan, current guild co-leader of <Ruin> along with Scarthian. We are currently looking for more players that have similar play styles, attitudes and generally just get along. We are an adult guild so if you are under the age of 18, please do not bother inquiring. For the most part, we all have families, jobs and in some cases Children so we recognize that RL is more important. We are based on Eastern Time and play most evenings and weekends.

As the game is still new, we are not max level, we do not know all of the ins and outs of the game yet but we ARE experienced MMO players. After spending 6 years playing WoW and 5 years before that playing Everquest, I have experience in leading guild raids and instance runs.

We do not tolerate begging or drama magnets, you WILL be removed.

We DO plan to progress through Game Content but as stated earlier, real life takes priority so there will not be a set "Raid Night" although there will be scheduled events and runs with sign-ups available.

Please, if you are interested in this type of guild, feel free to message us any time for a chat. We have a 30 day plan, think of it as a sort of test drive. If after 30 days you don't feel like you fit in, feel free to move on with no hard feelings, the same goes for us.

For anyone on the fence, I just joined today and this guild is exactly as advertised.

It's a fun, mature guild...and folks can play. In a few hours, I've run with good tanks, good DPS, and well, healers that are slightly less better than me.

If you're interested, I would recommend you reach out or join...it's a good group.

Just as an update to our recruitment thread:

We are now over 70 members and everyone seems to be meshing well. Our core group is rising in level consistently. We have not yet set a minimum level to join nor do we expect to in the future, that is not our style. We would happily welcome anyone that feels this is the type of guild they would enjoy and will continue to grow.

My girlfriend and I (both mid-late 20s) are looking for a guild to join and this sounds like a great fit. We are also EST and play weeknights and weekends, due to work and other priorities. We currently do not have characters however, due to waiting on the update. We just got the game today and, for obvious reasons, are not high level yet. I am looking for a new guild as the one I am has no interest in raiding or really doing anything as a guild. I am an experienced MMO player, been playing WoW in some pretty high rated guilds for years and am looking for a guild that will eventually raid and do things together when time allows. I play a hunter in WoW and naturally am playing a rogue ranger in Rift. Do you guys have room currently in the guild for another ranged class? I am currently level 34 and almost have my professions maxxed as well. Just looking for somewhere where I can level with people and grind dungeons and hopefully do some raiding with. Sounds like my kind of guild. I am older than most players and yes I played WoW at some point but I've played tons of others as well. My first was Dark Age of Camelot which I still love but I have played, like I said, many MMO's. Can't say I'm a great player as my reflexes are much slower than they used to be but I love playing and hope to be added to your numbers

My current "main" is Trystyl, a ranger/bard.

Another Update: Guild level 5, approx 80 members of which about 40 are VERY active. Our average level is around 30-35 and we have quite a few that are already 50 or close to it. We are still recruiting interested characters that fit in and continue to progress through levels and content. We are not the biggest guild but that comes from digression and not just inviting anyone that shows up on our doorstep.
