Are we in a rush to get to Lv 50?

Just an honest question to see the general feel of the shard.

A certain other game that will remain unnamed pushed people the highest level ASAP and then left them hanging as to content. Unfortunately i believe that they did a disservice to the genre in general by advocating this idea that people needed to get to the highest level quickly to enjoy the game.

Do people on Akylios believe this?

I for one have been playing since day 1 and my highest toon is lv 26. I'm taking my sweet time enjoying the world, the events and just chatting with guild members and helping lower level players as I encounter them.

Is there truly a need to rush to lv 50 and be disappointed by 1) having reached the end and 2) having possibly missed things along the way?

Actually, unless your already in one of the more hardcore guilds on this server rushing to 50 seems to have no point. I rushed myself to 50 in about 2 weeks solely for the purpose of being able to make bags and farm stocks of items for future use Honestly stick to what your comfortable with. This game has many things to enjoy at all stages of leveling, but if you do want to know I do believe they have quite a bit of endgame content to be enjoyed overall. You wouldn't really run out of stuff to do.
