<The Nights Watch> Calling for aid to help defend the realm of man!

Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.

The name for our guild draws inspiration from George RR Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series. The Night's Watch was a organization with filled with many people who had many different backgrounds, but all came together for one purpose, to protect the lands from a great evil.

I feel that this is fitting for our group, because our gaming past is not all the same, and yet here we all are, united under one common goal - to defend the realm of men [even from defiant ;)]

No, we are not a roleplaying guild, as some of you are probably thinking to yourselves, sicking as you read the post. We are a small guild at the moment, looking for anyone interested in experiencing and exploring all of Rift's content. That means PvE, World PvP, Warfronts, and hopefully raiding.

We're a fairly mature guild, in some aspects. We're looking for people with a sense of humor, but not to the point where its embarrassing, and we're looking for people who have a MMO history, in the sense that this isn't your first MMO, or you're a pretty knowledgable/skilled player.
