Locked Threads

So what is the point of having pages and pages of threads but at least 90% of them are all locked? Seems kind of stupid to me.

They auto lock after 30 (?) days to keep people from drudging up out of date and irrelevant discussions. I see no problem with that.

I agree with the very olds posts being locked. However the locked threads start on page one. That doesn't make alot of sense to me. Like I said... /shrug
